Tap Captions is an iPhone app from Iterator, Inc.. It helps you add captions and a spoken script to your own footage, with the processing kept on your device.

A focused way to finish a video

Start with Photos or Files. Give the video readable words, add narration when it helps and save a finished copy. The app uses the speech technology in iOS 27 and is built for that version of iOS.

Local processing is central to the workflow. You choose the footage, work on it on your iPhone and decide where to share the result.
