Email us for a TestFlight invitation. Let us know your iPhone model and the kind of videos you want to make. The team will help you get started.

You need an iPhone running iOS 27. Install TestFlight from Apple, then open your invitation on that iPhone to install Tap Captions.

Try a video you know well

Start with a short clip whose words are easy to check. Import it from Photos or Files, add captions or narration, then save the result and play it back. Keep your original while testing.

The beta covers local video import, automatic captions, caption styling, text-to-speech voiceover and saving a finished video.

Tell us what you notice

Send feedback through TestFlight. Include what you were trying to do, what happened and the iPhone model you used. For a caption or pronunciation issue, include the language and the word that needed correction.

Only attach footage you are comfortable sharing with the team. Your video is processed on your device during editing. A file that you choose to send with feedback is a separate disclosure.

Beta and release details

Features can change during testing. Voice and language availability depend on the speech assets supported on your device. Check those before starting a larger project or working offline.
